Sony’s blog shared some huge information today about the upcoming MGS4 bundle they have coming out in mid June. In the post they basically outline what their plans are and just a lot of info about MGS4 and the different versions. Now, I’ll just stick to the meat: the PS3 will have three hardware configurations come June 15th.
First, the normal 40 GB PS3 at $399.99
Second, a 80 GB PS3 with a copy of MGS4 Standard Edition and a Dual Shock 3.
Third, a 80 GB GUN METAL colored PS3 with a copy of MGS4 Limited Edition with a DS3.
Now, that gun metal PS3 is limited time, and according to the blog, it’s very limited. If you really want one. You should probably try to pre-order. It does look very nice.
Also, Sony unveiled a video walkthrough of the new PSN Store, which actually looks incredibly smooth and has a neat preview feature reminiscent of Mac OS X Leopard.
IGN has a nice preview of FallOut 3 up, which I think will be Game of The Year. Definitely check it out to see why I think so. One reason? You can be a baby and cry! Ok, not really, but that’ll make sense and actually sound cool if you read the article. Just so you know, GameSpot also has a preview up.
GameSpot reports that Bully was banned in Brazil as well.
And just to wrap things up. I literally just got off of playing some COD4 before I wrote this post, and I have to say… I met some of the most racist, ignorant, and immature people I’ve ever met (online or off) today. I’ve never heard anything like it. It’s truly amazing. From blatant racist spouting the N word and speaking in ways that would make anyone cringe to Americans (and some Brits) falling to sterotypes and making fun of other nationalities. It’s just horrible and the worst thing about online gaming in general. Here’s hoping one day… people become more considerate and mature.
