Welcome to what I like to call The GDB. That happens to be short for The Gaming Day Blog. I’ll simply be picking out a couple things I find interesting from the Industry and talking about them.

Let’s kick it off with something I found over at Sony’s official PlayStation Blog.They revealed the new look of the PSN Store, and it actually looks pretty nice and sleek. Though, it’s no surprise they’d go from the iTunes looking version to one that looks a bit more like the Xbox Live’s Marketplace.

Although I think it actually does look a bit cleaner than Marketplace, although maybe I just have a thing for blue. That is probably why I seemed to gravitate towards Liara in Mass Effect…

Anyway, the PSN Store will sadly not receive any updates for a whopping two weeks. But have no fear… it just so happens that Sony will debut the new look PSN Store with the holy grail of demos! Gran Turismo 5: Prologue! Isn’t that just a great coincidence!?

So around April 17th when you log on and download that firmware update, do check out the PSN Store and at least think about spending $40 on a demo. Please?

Also, do yourself a favor and check out this good feature on IGN.com about Grand Theft Auto IV. It’s chock-full of info about what looks to be the best GTA yet.
